All Competitions
Registration is in the competition tent at 09:00 latest. Play will start at 09:30.
All teams will be expected to referee some games during the day. This will be dictated by the schedule given on the day.
Mens' and Womens' pairs
There will be a 5-minute warm up on court including over the net. Players will be expected to do any other warm up away from the court. If a team is late for the start of their match, there will be penalties, i.e. loss of first set if 10 minutes late and so on.
Normal beach rules apply for pairs matches. A list of the main beach rules can be found in the programme and on the website
All 4s Competitions
Each team will be placed in Pools in the morning and will be assigned refereeing and scoring duties. Players are asked to be on time for their matches and duties.
After all matches have been played within the pools, there will a short break while the organisers place the teams in new pools for the afternoon play. The four top teams from the pools will be placed in the winners pool where they will play for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place. The next four teams will be placed into another pool to play for 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th place, and so on.
Beach rules will apply for 4s matches except the block touch which does not count as one of the three touches allowed per team. A list of the main beach rules can be found in the programme and on the website.
Mixed 4s Competitions
Teams must have at least two female players on court, unless a male is under 14 (eg: a
family team).
